How Many Questions Set in BECE Subjects
Using the recent BECE Past questions as a case study, the following are the number of questions to expect in Junior Waec (BECE) this year.
Mathematics:
Total of 122 Questions. Paper 1 60 Obj Questions, Paper 2 60 Objective Questions, Paper 3 (Theory) 2 Questions.
English Studies:
Paper 1: 80 Objective Questions
Paper 2: 50 Objective Questions
Paper 3 (Essay): 2 Questions
Total Questions in BECE English: 132 questions
10 Questions from two comprehension passages, 20 questions from completing sentences with most appropriate options and indicating missing words in numbered gaps (vocabulary development), 30 questions from grammatical accuracy, 15 questions from oral English. All these make up 80 Questions in paper 1.
For paper 2, 15 questions from drama, 5 questions from prose and 10 questions from poetry. Letter writing and debate or argument or article makes up the two questions in paper 3 Junior Waec English.
