According to a Harris Poll, pizza has beaten burgers, steak, tacos, and pasta as American’s favorite food for yet another year. Almost everyone enjoys a slice of pizza now and then, but Pi Day (March 14) gives teachers an entirely new reason to embrace the cheesy dish (well, not literally, that would be messy). Pizza might just be the perfect food to help our students get excited about math.
