25 Earth Day activities for elementary students

With all the craziness that is a classroom schedule in the spring, finding quick, yet thorough and fun earth day activities for kids can be challenging to say the least.   When your lesson plans don’t really have time nor space for art projects, crafts, or decorations, you just may be able to squeeze it in during math time – or use a read aloud to discuss during your reading block.

A great way to show students how to reuse and upcycle materials!  Plus, it’s a cool way to recycle all those leftover broken crayon bits in your crayon bins before the end of the year.  Look at you being prepared and already cleaning up spaces before the end of the year rush arrives!  {As a side note:  I am NOT crafty at all and I adore how these actually look like mini Earths.}
